Orcas sink another boat in Europe after a nearly hour-long attack

A pod of orcas has attacked and sunk one other boat in southwestern Europe after relentlessly bombarding the vessel and its crew for nearly an hour on Halloween. It’s the fourth time that orcas from this area’s inhabitants have sunk a vessel within the final two years.

On Oct. 31, the Grazie Mamma — a mid-size crusing yacht owned by Polish cruise firm Morskie Mile — was attacked by an unknown variety of orcas for round 45 minutes off the coast of Morocco within the Strait of Gibraltar, Morskie Mile representatives wrote in a Fb submit translated from Polish.
